Suschia Philipson is an international entertainer combining Hoop Dance with her own voice.

Hula-hoop artist and singer SHIA is known for a unique blend of urban hoop dance, circus style multi-hooping, singing and entertainment.

With her charming show HOOP CHANT ADVENTURES she is touring around Europe, performing at Festivals and events, like the Magdalena Circus Festival in Castellón de la Plana, KOSMOS Chemnitz and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Shia started singing and acting at an early age and discovered hoop dance as a young adult. Her name, Suschia, received by her mother in a dream, is the phonetic version of Surya, which is Sanskrit meaning Sun.

Besides her live shows, she has appeared in music videos or commercials, e.g. for Volvic and JDC Fashion Milano and worked as a fitness model. She also accomplished a comprehensive yoga teacher training for Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga.
